KIMBERLY LaGAYLE GUILLORY

SUNRISE AUGUST 2, 1969 SUNSET AUGUST 14, 2026

With heavy hearts and loving memories, we celebrate the life of Kimberly LaGayle Guillory, who departed this life on August 14, 2026, at the age of 57. She was born on August 2, 1969, to Mayfield Collins Jr., and Evelyn Jean Hadnot Collins in Jasper, Texas.

Kimberly was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, wife, relative, and friend whose presence touched the lives of many. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, strength, kindness, and the special way she cared for those around her.

Kimberly was married to the late Charlie Guillory, and together they made their home in Rosepine, Louisiana.

Left to cherish Kimberly’s precious memory are her beloved daughter, LaNeisha JaNae Birdlong; her son-in-love, Anthony Cole, Sr.; and the joy of her heart, her only grandchild, Nehemiah Issac Cole.

She is also lovingly remembered by her siblings, Stephen Collins, Sr., Randy Collins, Sr. (Beverly), and Vickie Brooks (Keith).

Kimberly was blessed with special relationships that she held close to her heart. Among those who shared a special place in her life were her very special friend, Catoria; her beloved bonus daughter, Jeannette Bohanan; her cherished goddaughter, Talarra Palmer; and her dear special friend, Janice Collins. The love, friendship, and memories they shared with Kimberly will forever be treasured.

She also leaves to cherish her memory her in-laws, Chris Palmer (Catoria), Gerald Palmer (Latasha), and Shannon Marks, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.

Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents, her  loving husband, Charlie Guillory, and her sisters, Gwendolyn Collins and Michelle Garrett.

Although our hearts are saddened by her passing, we are grateful for the years, the love, and the beautiful memories God allowed us to share with Kim. Her life and legacy will continue through the family she loved so dearly and through every person whose life she touched.

Her smile, her laughter, her love, and the memories she created will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Forever loved. Forever remembered. Forever in our hearts.
