Kimberley Anne Bailey

Pablo Picasso said “The meaning of life is to find your gift. The purpose of life is to give it away.”

Kimberley Anne intensely gave the gift of teaching to hundreds of students from Mission, Texas to Lake Charles, Leesville and Deridder, Louisiana. She never tired of finding ways to expand young minds and inspire learning. Kimberley left us to join her Savior on September 24, 2025 after a short but hard-fought battle with cancer.

Kimberley’s passions included teaching, gardening, cooking and being the absolute best at anything to which she put her mind and her mind was always on supporting her family and being a good friend. She had a fire burning to grow every student in which she came in contact, even students that never took her classes. She has affected eternity; we will never know where her influence stops.

Kim is survived by her Husband, Duane Bailey, her children, Dillon, Joel, Meaghan, and Connor, her daughters in loving marriage, Calie and Sihoo, her mother, Carol Murphy, her siblings Carey McAdoo and Kevin Murphy, and her mother, brothers and sisters in loving marriage, Clint McAdoo, Adrian Bailey, Lori Bailey, Danica Williams, CT Williams, Kristen Pitts, and Sue Bailey.

Kimberley was proceeded in death by her father, Ray Murphy.

A Funeral Service will be on Thursday, October 2nd, 2025, at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Hwy 190, DeRidder, LA, at 6:00pm. Father LeBleu will be officiating the service. A Visitation will be held on Thursday October 2, 2025, from 4:00pm until 6:00pm. A Rosary will be recited at 5:30 pm. The burial will take place on a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home.
