Kelvin Eugene Conley, the age of 64, left us on March 20, 2026. Born on August 17, 1961, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to Kelly and Emma Jean Conley. He spent his life in Deridder, LA, where he dedicated his time and efforts to his work in the car wash industry, serving the community with a warm smile and a kind heart.
Kelvin is survived by his cherished children: Kavonne Buckhalter Gatson, and Kevorie Thompson, grandchildren; Auriana Buckhalter and Christlynn Chambers, one Great Grandchild; Khyren Buckhalter. Sister: Debbie (Aundrey) Moten of Anniston, Ala; Brother: Kevin Conley of Texas City, Tx. and host of family and friends who will carry forward his loving spirit and the values he instilled in her. He had an extraordinary gift for bringing joy to those around him, always finding time to connect with family and friends. His love for others and commitment to building relationships defined his life.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
A public viewing will take place at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on March 25, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor Kelvin's memory and share in the love he inspired. Following the viewing, a funeral service will be held at the same location at 12:00 PM, where we will celebrate the remarkable life, he lived. Pastor Bouie will officiate the service. Kelvin's final resting place will be in Beauregard Cemetery.
As we gather to reflect on Kelvin’s life, let us remember the laughter, undeniable strength, and joyful moments he brought into our lives. He will be profoundly missed but forever cherished in our hearts.
