Katherine "Kathy" Ball

Katherine Francis Erwin Ball was born on July 25, 1959 in Morgan City, LA to Ruby Rae Howard and Billy George Erwin.

Kathy was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish where she spent her life enjoying family, grandchildren, and her dog, Pancho. Kathy spent her life taking care of others and had a nurturing heart. Her hobbies included gardening, watching grandkids play ball and watching Days of Our Lives.

She is preceded in death by the love of her life, Lester “L.C.” Jeane; sons, Brian Eric Martin, Randall Scott Martin; parents, Billy and Ruby; brother, Kenneth Erwin; sister, Pauline Sigler.

She is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Martin and Bobby of Leesville, LA; Belinda Williams of Hornbeck, LA; brothers, Jeff Erwin and Donna, Billy Erwin, all of Hornbeck, LA; sister, Brenda Stone and Larry of Anacoco, LA; grandchildren, Eric Martin, Cameron Walker, Blake Martin, Haylee Jeane, Payton Jeane, Austin Brack, Alexis Brack, Aylissa Brack, Emily Brack, Bryce Williams, Quintin Williams, Christian Williams; and a host of nieces, nephews and others she considered family.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 6, 2021 from 4:00 PM until 10:00 PM at Hornbeck Full Gospel Church in Hornbeck, LA. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 7, 2021, also at Hornbeck Full Gospel Church. Brother Buddy Freeman will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be J.R. Erwin, Chris Erwin, Eric Martin, Thomas Erwin, Blake Martin, Austin Brack. Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco, LA.
