Karen "Sissie" Sue Gaines

Karen “Sissie” Sue Hale Gaines, 65, of Newton, TX, passed from this life on Saturday, September 2, 2017.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Daphne Escamilla & Jimmy of Brownwood, TX; sister, Diane Wedgeworth & Mike of Bon Wier, TX; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Reba Hale; sister, Debbie Boyd and nephew Derrell Nathan Boyd, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 8, 2017 from 2:00PM – 5:00PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  A short private family service will be held at 3:00PM during this time and then visitation will continue until 5:00PM. Services are under the direction of Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.
