Judy Faye Scott Colton

Judy Faye Scott Colton was born August 24, 1967 to the  late T.W. and Mary Scott in DeRidder, Louisiana.

Judy married Artis Lee Colton Jr. and to this union, four children were born.


Judy is preceded in death by her parents, T.W. and Mary Scott; brothers, Elton Mango, Henderson Scott and Edwin Coleman; grandfather Epp Lloyd; grandmother, Clara Hargrove and nephew, Antonio Scott.

She leaves to cherish her memories, her husband, Artis Lee Colton Jr.; four children, Ja-Sheika Colton, Artis Colton (Ebony), Audriana Colton, and Julisa Colton all of DeRidder, LA; sister-in-law, Belinda Banks of Lake Charles; sisters, Hattie Simeion, Joyce (Henry) Clark, Lucille Youngblood, Annie Scott, Gloria (Rodney) Blake, and La-Kendra Scott Perkins all of DeRidder, LA; aunts, Betty Ross, Essie Jones of Mansfield, LA, Mary Belton of Converse, LA, Fannie Houston and husband Charles of DeRidder, LA; uncles, Mosley (Minnie) Lloyd of Mansfield, LA and Wiley (Ida) Hargrove of Beaumont, TX; mother-in-law, Ernestine Colton of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Jaylynn Colton, Jada Colton and Draya Colton all of DeRidder, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends; special niece/goddaughter, Quinlyn Scott; sister-in-law, Johnny Mango of DeRidder, LA; God given uncle, Buford Nelson of DeRidder, LA, and God given brother Charlie (Kim) Guillory of DeRidder, LA.


Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at Grace Church in DeRidder, La from 9:00am until 11:00am.

Funeral service will begin at 11:00am, October 23, 2013 at Grace Church.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder.  Rev. Charlie Fields will officiate.
