Joy Evelyn Parish

Joy Evelyn Parish, 87, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 16, 2018.

Ganny loved spending time with her family and she loved serving the Lord.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Rhonda Mier of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Brandi Alford of DeRidder, LA and Madden Blake Alford & fiancée Candie of DeRidder, LA; great grandchildren, Kameron Skowronski and Khloe Meaut both of DeRidder, LA; and a host of other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lillie Waddell and one brother, Charles “Bubba” Waddell, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, La.  Funeral services will be at 7:00 PM Friday, October 19, 2018 also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.  Brother Gibson will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Blake Alford, Danny Cain, Darren Cain, Mike Allen, Mark Allen, Kurtis Kimsey, Johnny Sharp, Jr. and Brent Morvant.
