Joseph E. Turner 85 of Merryville, LA passed from this life on Sunday, February 14, 2010. Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Thursday February 18, 2010 from 10 A.M. until time of services at First United Pentecostal Church in Merryville, Louisiana. Funeral services were held on Thursday, February 18, 2010 at 1:00 PM at First United Pentecostal Church in Merryville, Louisiana. Interment was held at Antioch Cemetery in Buna, Texas. Officiating the funeral service was Rev. Frank Kendall, Rev. Antoine Smikel, Rev. Bill Treece and Rev. T.P. Bolenbaucher

Joseph Turner is survived by; Brothers: J.C. Turner of Plano, TX and Samuel Turner of Riverside, CA; Step Brother:  Rev. T.P. Bolenbaucher of Lumberton, TX; Sister: Josephine Hopson of Merryville, LA and  host of family and friends.  He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Farmer Turner, Parents: Jesse and Catherine Turner and five brothers.
