Jonah Oakley William Johnson

On June 9, 2026, God blessed us with one of His angels to come on Earth briefly and showed us a glimpse of Heaven.

This precious little angel was a handsome little boy named Jonah Oakley William Johnson. He was only here briefly but touched the hearts of his Mommy and Daddy and the countless people who shared in his journey. People far and wide bonded together in prayer in hopes that he would receive his miracle. He finally did receive his miracle and was healed on June 26, 2026, as he entered Heaven and became sheltered in the arms of Our Father above. While our hearts break, we are comforted by the fact that we will see him and hold him again.

A visitation to celebrate and honor Jonah will be held on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at Simmons Mill Pentecostal Church in Pitkin, LA and burial will follow immediately at Buck Martin Cemetery under the direction of Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Reverend J.R. Dowden will officiate the service.

Jonah is survived by his parents, Ryan Lee and Tori Whitney Martin Johnson. He is also survived by his five sisters, Raelynn Faith, Jocelynn Noel, Emery Donna K, Paisley Harper, Blakely Nala Ruth and one brother Malachi Whitlee Johnson; his grandparents, Leonard Martin and Charlene Martin and Andy and Pam Johnson and great grandparents, Peggy Smith and Bonus grandparents Kenny and Donna Johnson and Selena Tackett . Also left to cherish his memory are numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Brothers and Sisters in Christ.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Twila Johnson and his uncle Shannon Martin.
