John Hanford Morvant

John Hanford Morvant, 90, of Sulphur, LA, passed from this life on Sunday, November 3, 2013. Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rachel Morvant of Sulphur, LA; daughters, Karen Berger and Gwynneth Franklin, both of Houston, TX; sisters, Clarice Morvant of Sulphur, LA and Norma Durio of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Zachary R. Franklin and Hannah E. Franklin; and a host of nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Rena Morvant and brother, John “Jay” Morvant.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 2:00pm at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, LA.  Elder G. L. Read will officiate.
