Joette Myers Head, 71, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 28, 2024.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of fifty-one years, Richard H. Head, Jr. of Merryville, LA; daughters, Amy Clark and Dania of DeRidder, LA, Erin Ferguson and Daniel of Merryville, LA, D’Anna Erwin and Jeremy of Merryville, LA; sisters, Liz Wadkins and Wayne of DeRidder, LA, Lisa Holman and Jerry of Brookeland, TX; grandchildren, Richard Taylor, Braden Erwin, Harliegh Ferguson, Avery Erwin, Alex Taylor, Brody Ferguson, Oren Erwin, Claudia Erwin, Jeremiah Erwin; great grandchild, Matteo Erwin and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joe & Lera “Keat” Myers; brother, Buck Myers; grandson, Billy Ferguson; brother-in-law, Jim Frear.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Jimmy Clark will officiate the service.
