It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James William White, fondly known as Jimmy, who left us on May 24, 2026, at the age of 71. Jimmy was born on January 8, 1955, in Selma, MO, and spent his later years in Rosepine, LA, where he created countless memories with his beloved family.
Jimmy was a dedicated General and Operations Manager in the retail industry, known for his hard work and commitment. But beyond his career, what truly defined him was his love for family. He cherished spending time with his loved ones, making every moment together special. Whether it was sharing stories, grilling in the backyard, or cheering for his favorite team, the Miami Dolphins, Jimmy's infectious spirit and sense of humor brought joy to all who knew him.
He is survived by his loving wife of thirty-eight years, Beverly White; sons, Josh White (Katelyn), JW White, David James (Betsy Jo); daughter, Jill Seidel (Dustin); sister, Susan Anne Cook (John); eleven grandchildren; Melanie, Ariel, Breanna, Kaydi, Lil Paul, Cameron, Jaidyn, Russell, Thomas, Joseph, and Haley, five great grandchildren; Rosalie, Adasialyn, Rhett, Ryleigh, and Cullen, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Jimmy's memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends, who will forever remember his kindness and laughter.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Towers White; daughter, Melissa LeAnn Coram; brother, Robert "Bobby" White.
A celebration of Jimmy's life will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2026 at 5:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA where family and friends will gather to honor the wonderful man he was. Visitation will be held prior to the service starting at 3:00 PM. Brother Vic Warrick will officiate the service. We invite all who knew him to join us in remembering the incredible moments and stories we shared with Jimmy.
Rest in peace, Jim. You will be missed more than words can express.
