ames Wallace Lockhart, Sr. 62, of Merryville, LA passed from this life on Thursday, May 6, 2010 in Alexandria, LA.  Visitation was held on Friday, May  7, 2010 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services were held on Saturday, May 8, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Bro. Tony Crosier officiated.  Interment was at Miller Cemetery in Cottonwood, LA.

James is survived by his son: James Lockhart, Jr. and wife Stefanie of Robert, LA; daughter: Latricia Lockhart; brothers: Roy Lockhart of Merryville, LA, Paul Lockhart of Old River, TX, George Lockhart of Baytown, TX and Charles Wayne Lockhart of Abilene, TX; sisters: Lee Howell of Jacksonville, FL, Katie Lockhart of Old River, TX and Charlene Young of Old River, TX; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his mother: Nellie Lockhart; father: Wallace Lockhart; brother: Johnny Lockhart; sister: Judy Font.
