James “Jimmy” Allen Toothman, born on May 23, 1968, in Landstuhl, Germany, to James and Irma Safica Toothman. Jimmy passed away on November 12, 2025, in DeRidder, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family.

 Jimmy was known for his remarkable dedication and passion as an aviation technician, particularly his love for working on Chinook helicopters. His technical skills and commitment to his craft left a lasting impact on his colleagues and friends alike.

 He is survived by his beloved mother, Irma Toothman, his daughter, Meagan Faye Ford, and granddaughter, Ryleigh. He is also remembered by his brothers, Robert (June) Toothman and Raymond Toothman, and his sister, Nikita Toothman along with a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, family and friends who will continue to cherish his memory and the joy he brought to those around him.

He is preceded in death by his father, James F. Toothman, and brother, Michael “Mike” Toothman. 

Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home. 

James Allen Toothman will be remembered for his infectious enthusiasm for life, his love for family, and his unwavering dedication to his profession. He will be sorely missed but fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
