James Kennedy

James Fruge Kennedy, 85, of Longville, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, January 30, 2021.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of fifty-nine years, Mavis Kennedy of Longville, LA; son, Brett Kennedy of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Beverly Kennedy Fontenot of Longville, LA; brother, Harold Kennedy and Pat of Moss Bluff, LA; sister, Mary Ann Flowers of Welsh, LA; grandchildren, Kevin Kennedy of Elton, LA, Jordan Rush and Faith of Longville, LA, Brian Kennedy of DeRidder, LA; great grandchildren, Kylar Rush, Victoria Rush; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James and Vernie Kennedy; sister, Jessie Mae Manuel.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date by the family.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either St. Jude Children’s Hospital or the American Heart Association.
