James “Jim” C. Renfro, 98., of DeRidder, Louisiana passed away on Thursday, August 7, 2008. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Monday August 11, 2008 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Bro. Arthur Rockett will officiate. Burial will be at Cooper Cemetery in DeRidder, Louisiana.
He is survived by the following: Wife: Mary O. Renfro of DeRidder; Son: Fred Renfro of Mesa, Arizona; Daughters: Wilda Allen of DeRidder; Louise Hudson of DeRidder; Doris Springer of DeRidder; Pat Goebel of Ramona, California; Brothers: Abe Christian; Everett Christian; Charley Christian. 12 Grandchildren, 16 Great Grandchildren, 10 Great Great Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife: Edna L. Renfro.
