Henry "Hank" Steven Weber

Henry “Hank” Weber, affectionately known as “Hammer or Hankster” passed away peacefully at home on August 9, 2026, at the age of 74. Born in Waukesha, Wisconsin, to Robert Henry Weber and Marilyn May Weber, Hank spent his early childhood in Muskego before moving with his family to a home they built at Random Lake, Wisconsin, a place cherished by his grandparents.

Hank graduated from Random Lake High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, followed by a Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. For 47 years, Hank dedicated his professional life to HR and safety in the paper industry, with the last 20 years at PCA, where he served the last 7 years as the Human Resources Manager until his retirement in May 2026.

He enjoyed working on projects around the house, in his shop building wood projects and especially working in the yard pulling weeds. His favorite place in the world was his family’s lake house in Wisconsin where four generations of Webers enjoyed boating, waterskiing and sailing every summer for over 80 years.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his wife of 47 years, Sharon Weber, and their sons Nathan and Andrew. Hank was a proud grandfather to Hannan and Finnegan, who brought him immense joy. He is also survived by his brothers Wayne Weber and David Weber (Terri), sister-in-law Patricia Bennett and brother-in-law James Bennett, along with several nieces and nephews who will deeply miss him.

Hank was predeceased by his parents and his beloved daughter-in-law, Rachel Weber. His family and friends will remember him for his kindness, dedication, and unwavering love.

A Gathering of Friends will take place at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in Deridder, LA, on Tuesday, August 18, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, from 9:00 AM until the start of the memorial service. The Funeral Service will commence at 10:00 AM, with Paul Weeks officiating. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home.

In this time of loss, may the memories of Hank bring comfort to all who knew him, and may his legacy of love and dedication continue to inspire us.
