Henry David Gay

Henry David Gay passed on May 13, 2025, in Deridder, LA surrounded by his loving family. Henry is the son of Conner and Kiera Gay. Henry will always be a precious gift to this wonderful family. Although his time here was short and his body fragile, he is strong, perfect, and complete in the arms of his Heavenly Father.

The Prophet Isaiah tells us “Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and no one can fathom his understanding. He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not be faint.” - Isaiah 40:28-31

Henry is survived by his parents, Conner and Kiera Gay, his grandparents, Brent and Emily Gay, and Galen and Carol Classen, along with a host of family waiting to meet him in eternity.

A funeral service for Henry Gay will be held in the chapel of Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 21, 2025. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. until the start of the service at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow the service at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Brother Mike Mitchell will officiate the service.
