Helen Ruth Martin

Helen Ruth Mayo Martin, 92, of DeRidder, Louisiana, passed from this life on Thursday, April 5, 2012 in Rosepine, LA.  Mrs. Martin is survived by two daughters, Barbara Young and husband Dale of Merryville, LA and Betty McCollough of Deridder, LA; grandchildren, Tammy Stark of Orange, TX; Dana Moore of DeRidder, LA; Karen Hebert of DeRidder, LA; and Phillip McCollough of Sulphur, LA and seven great-grandchildren.Mrs. Martin was the last surviving member of her immediate family.She was preceded in death by great-grandsons, Scott Moore and Nick Moore.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 6, 2012 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at 11:00am also at the funeral home. Rev. George Lee Glass will officiate. Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
