Hazel Diane Nolen

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Hazel Diane Whiddon Nolen, who left us on September 26, 2025, at the age of 76. Born on July 2, 1949, in Deridder, Louisiana, Diane was a loving housewife and a cherished member of her community.

Diane had a heart of gold and an unmatched ability to connect with those around her. Known for her gift of gab, she could light up a room with her conversations and was always ready to lend a compassionate ear. Her infectious spirit and deep love for the Lord were evident in everything she did.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Ronny Nolen, who will forever cherish their years together; children; Burley and Lanette Nolen of Deridder, LA., and Christy and Bob Houston of Florien, LA., five grandchildren; Nikki Blanchard, Wesley and Pauliena Blanchard, Braden Nolen, Tristen Nolen, and Gavin Nolen, three great grandchildren; Tryton Harbison, Oaklynn Blanchard, and Chloe Harrison, brothers; Jimmy Whiddon of Deridder, LA., Sisters: Sybil Avery of Jasper, TX, Carolyn Rhodes of Merryville, LA, Cassie James (Harold) of Rosepine, LA, and Rita Fletcher Luneau of Deridder, LA., and a host of nieces and nephews.

Diane was preceded in death by her parents; Burley and Lucille Dubos Whiddon, and her brother; Johnny Fred Whiddon.

Friends and family are invited to pay their respects during the public viewing at Myers Colonial Funeral Home on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Tuesday from 9:00AM until the start of the service at 1:00PM. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at 1:00 PM, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Brother Bobby Pfantz will officiate the service. Diane will be laid to rest at Newlin Cemetery in Singer, Louisiana.

Diane touched many lives, and her memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
