It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Harry Lee Thibodeaux, who left us on August 20, 2025, at the age of 75. Harry was born on December 7, 1949, in Midland, Louisiana, and spent his life surrounded by the beauty of nature, especially along the Sabine River.
Harry was married to the love of his life, Vivian, for 49 wonderful years. Together, they built a life filled with love and laughter. Harry was a true outdoorsman and cherished every moment spent hunting, fishing, and camping. He forged lifelong memories with family and friends in the great outdoors, and he took pride in his work as a construction and maintenance contractor at Boise Papermill, where he dedicated 20 plus years of his life.
Harry will be deeply missed by his daughter, Tammi Trevino and Jesse of Waller, TX, granddaughter, Courtney Sellers and Coy Ingle of Merryville, LA, grandson, Chris O'Nan of Conroe, TX, great-granddaughter, Charlie O'Nan, and his beloved siblings, Duplessis Paul Thibodeaux and Estelle of Moss Bluff, LA and Theresa Quibodeaux of Egan; best friend, Lynn Lott of Merryville, LA and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of love, adventure, and unforgettable stories.
Harry was preceded in death by his loving wife, Vivian Thibodeaux; parents, Duplessis and Alice Thibodeaux; brothers, Joseph Thibodeaux, Lawrence Thibodeaux, Causby Thibodeaux, Cirbet Thibodeaux, David Thibodeaux.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a local charity such as ASPCA reflecting Harry's love for animals. Harry will forever remain in our hearts, and his adventurous spirit will live on in the stories we tell and the memories we cherish.
