Glenn Wayne Ashworth, 70, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.

Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Glennette Slisz and Mark of Las Vegas, NV; brothers, Alvin Ashworth of DeRidder, LA, Larry Ashworth and Patricia of DeRidder, LA, Kerry Ashworth and LaVonda of Monroe, LA; sisters, Kathy Lewis and Edward of DeRidder, LA, Paula Fulford and Michael of Rosepine, LA, Vanessa Mazyck and William of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Anthony Smith, Letrice Smith, Angel Smith, Shannon Slisz, Stephanie Slisz, Destiny Slisz and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie, Jr. and Florine Ashworth; brothers, Randy Ashworth, Paul Ashworth.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 10 from 10:00 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at Friendship Baptist Church in Bancroft, LA. Pastor Wilfert Williams will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Randy Ashworth, Jr., Larry Ashworth, Jr., Matthias Ashworth, Nehemiah Ashworth, Jamarquis Sowells, Melique Sowells. Honorary Pallbearers will be Larry Ashworth, Kerry Ashworth, Alvin Ashworth, Reggie Spikes, Joe Spikes, Ellis Spikes. Burial will follow at Spikes Cemetery in Bancroft, LA.
