Glenda Gail Parker Goodwin, 55, of Merryville, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, September 1, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of thirty-four years, Michael Goodwin of Merryville, LA; sons Joey Goodwin and Charity of DeRidder, LA, Devan Goodwin of Rosepine, LA, Tristin Goodwin of Merryville, LA; sister, Shelia Parker Clayton and Joel of Sugartown, LA; niece, Morgan Williams and Roy of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Gavin Michael, Kamrie A’dale and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Parker, Jr. and Lydia Parker; grandfather, Charlie Parker, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, September 8, 2021 also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Arlen Smith will officiate the service. Pallbearers will be Chasten Blackmon, Austin Lott, Derek Smith, Ronnie Waddle, Jamie Higginbotham, Andy Whiddon. Burial will follow at Cannon Cemetery in Merryville, LA.
