Gilda Sue Perkins

Gilda Sue Perkins, 64, passed from this life on Thursday, January 12, 2012. She is survived by her husband, Wilson Perkins of DeQuincy, Louisiana; daughter, Jennifer Perkins Clark Irvine and husband Brent of DeQuincy; brother, Eddie Ray Perkins of Singer, Louisiana; sisters, Alice Ashworth, also of Singer and Jeanette Crutchfield of Jasper, Texas; grandchildren, Madison and Hunter Irvine and Amber Clark Burgess and one great-grandchild, Tucker Burgess and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gilda was preceded in death by: daughter, Cindy Perkins; father, O.C. Perkins Sr.; mother, Nellie Ashworth Perkins; brothers, Gilbert "Bear" Perkins, George Perkins Sr.,  O.C. Perkins Jr., Thomas "Bit" Perkins and Alva "Alvie" Perkins; sister, Bessie Mae Dunham Catron. Visitation will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana.  Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 15, 2012 at 1:00pm, also at the funeral home.  Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, Louisiana.
