George W. Allen 67, of Merryville, Louisiana passed from this life on Monday, October 18, 2010 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, Louisiana. Bro. Michael Allen & Bro. Mike McLaurin will officiate. Interment will follow at Merryville Cemetery in Merryville, Louisiana.
Mr. Allen is survived by Wife: Ellen M. Allen of Merryville, LA; Sons: Michael & wife Linda Allen of Merryville, LA, Mark & wife Kelley Allen of Merryville, LA; 3 Grandchildren.
Preceded in death by: Mother - Leada Welborn; Father - George W. Allen, Jr.
