Garret Franklin Eddleman

Garret Franklin Eddleman, 25, of Singer, LA, passed from this life on Tuesday, March 19, 2024.

A profound young man who was mostly a man of few words especially in a crowd but he chose his words wisely. When he spoke, you listened. When he smiled, it was warm and lit up the room. Garret always listened and responded with kindness and empathy. He reached out and gave encouragement. He always believed in everyone around him and supported them to reach their fullest potential. He is a wonderful son and an amazing older brother. Him, Colton and Chey are incredibly close and their love and bond is precious to see. Him and his dad are a lot alike, sometimes stubborn and always hardheaded! His momma is his biggest supporter and strength. He is the oldest son, grandson, nephew and cousin, and he will be terribly missed. Death leaves a sting and a void and hurts, but Heaven has become even more beautiful now that he is home.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Shadrach and Amanda Eddleman of Singer, LA; brother, Colton Eddleman of Singer, LA; sister, Cheyenne Eddleman of Singer, LA; grandparents, Pam and Kenneth Baker of DeRidder, LA, George and Debbie Eddleman of Singer, LA, Butch Rains of Pleasant Hill, LA; great grandmother, Irene Doyle of Singer, LA and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ricky Eddleman.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 2:00 PM at Good Hope Baptist Church in Singer, LA. Brother Jerry Hext will officiate the service.
