Gabriel Tyler

July 5, 1965 - August 6, 2015

Gabriel Tyler was born July 5, 1965 in Lake Charles, LA.  Gabriel was loved by everyone.  He worked as a trailer mover and a nurse in Texas and a logger.  He worked in the Westwood Manor Nursing Home.  He will be missed by all.  He loved to cook, and party. He loved helping people and taking care of their children.

Those left to cherish his memory are 6 sons, 2 daughters; aunt, Gladys Brazzle; stepfather, Jimmy Maxie; 11 sisters; 8 brothers; and brother, Robert Gray and sister, Tawana Gray on his mother’s side; 4 aunts; 2 uncles; a host of grandchildren, nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Johnny Mae Tyler, and father, Charlie Tyler; grandmother, Laura Samuel; 3 uncles.

Visitation and Funeral service will be held Sunday, August 9, 2015 at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Visitation will begin at 10:00am until time of funeral service at 11:00am.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder.  Rev. John Crosley will officiate.
