Emma  "Sis" Spikes 100 of DeRidder passed from this life on Saturday, October 31, 2009.
Visitation will begin Friday from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM November 6, 2009 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home. Services will be Saturday November 7 at 11:00 AM at Norris Memorial Church of God in Christ, 501 E. North Street DeRidder, La.  Internment will be at Spikes Cemetery, Bancroft La.

Mrs. Spikes is survived by sons:  Otis Spikes and Elmer Spikes of Bancroft, La., Chester Spikes, Roy Spikes, and Edward Spikes of DeRidder, La.  Daughters: Azzie Lee Davis, Ethel Spikes and Alberta Louis of DeRidder, Roberta Thompkins of Houston, Texas. and Hattie Turner of Sacramento, California.  32 Grandchildren, 35 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great Great Grandchildren.
