Ella Mae Loftin

Ella Mae Foshee Loftin 76 years old, passed away peacefully on May 2, 2025, in DeRidder LA. She was born on March 24, 1949, to Jefferson and Charity Foshee. Ella dedicated her life to caring for others, and always making sure her family was taken care of.

Ella is survived by her loving children, Misty Cole of Junction, LA, Hilton “Ray” Higginbotham and wife Darla of Vidor TX., and Dana Loftin of DeRidder, LA. Eight grandchildren, and Eighteen Great-grandchildren. Her family will forever remember her warmth, strength, and the light she brought into their lives.

Ella was preceded in death by her parents; Jefferson Foshee and Charity Foshee, husband; Hilton "Donk" Higginbotham, one child; Jon Paul Higginbotham, and siblings; Harlon Foshee, Clara Fowler, and Annette Foshee.

Ella Mae Loftin will be dearly missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home, and the family will have a private memorial service set on a later date.
