On Tuesday, September 2, 2008, Eleanor S. Snapp, 90, of DeRidder, passed from this life at her residence. Visitation will be held from 5PM – 9PM on Wednesday, September 3, 2008 at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder. Funeral Services will be at 3 PM on Thursday, September 4, 2008 at the Myers Colonial Funeral Home of DeRidder. Burial will be in Whitaker Cemetery of DeRidder, LA. The Revs. Wayne Kite and Tim Bergen will officiate.
Survivors include: Sons: Ronnie (Patricia) Snapp of DeRidder, LA and Clyde Snapp of DeRidder, LA; Daughter: Glenna (Jerry) Cooley of DeRidder, LA; Sister: Bernita McLane of New Caney, Texas; 13 Grandchildren; 23 Great Grandchildren and 9 Great-Great Grandchildren.
Eleanor was preceded in death by: Husband: M. H. Snapp; Daughter: Bobbie Simpson; Sons: Jim Snapp, Jerry Snapp and Claude Snapp.
