Eleanor Rae Estess Moses, 77, of Baytown, Texas, passed away April 27, 2021.

She was born on February 29, 1944 to Raymond M. Estess and Merle Ravencraft Estess. She was married to Charles Ray Moses for 21 years. Ellie had a career in customer service for Blue Cross Blue Shield of Louisiana. She was a member of Mercy Gate Church and had a passion for people, grand kids,church family, traveling with her husband, fishing, and loved to laugh and tell a good joke.

She was preceded in death by her father Raymond M. Estess and mother Merle Ravencraft

(Paul) of Baton Rouge, Jeffrey E. Swayze (Claudia) of Castle Rock, Colorado, Ryan D. Swayze

(Rebecca) of Vancouver, Washington, Robert Eric Moses of DeRidder, Louisiana, and Randall Joel

Moses (Danielle) of Crosby, Texas. Grandkids Anna Griggs, Ashton Griggs, Austin Griggs, Adaline

Tullos (Jessie), Aryanne Griggs, Ciara Nelson (Chase), Anthony Heurtevant, Chris Leiner-Swayze,

Jewel Leiner-Swayze, Lydia Blythe Swayze, Helen Nicole Swayze, Jayden Alexander Moses, Chad

Mills, Brittany Mills, Hayden Mills, Kyra Brown, Dravon Brown, and Alacandrea Griffin. Great

Grandkids Cameron Nelson and Carter Nelson.

Visitation will be Saturday, May 1, 2021 at 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Graveside service and burial will be at 11:00 AM at Whitaker Cemetery in DeRidder, LA. Brother Dennis Moses will officiate the service.
