Effie May Harvey

Effie May Harvey, 97, of Evans, Louisiana passed from this life on Monday, November 14, 2011 in Merryville, Louisiana. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2011 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at  Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder and again on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 9 a.m. until time of service at Galilee Baptist Church in Evans. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Galilee Baptist Church in Evans. Rev. Clint Hines will officiate. Interment will follow at Evans Cemetery in Evans.

May and her husband Quinton were the longtime owners of the West Point Conoco Station in Sulphur, Louisiana.
