Edla "Betty" Gill

Edla “Betty” Erickson Gill, 86, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, May 8, 2021.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Mickey Brown and Thelton of DeRidder, LA; their children, Amanda Brown of Lake Charles, LA and Shelby Brown of DeRidder, LA; Betty Clarke and son, Brennen Clarke, both of California; Karen Peacock and Michael and their children, Kristy, Leslie, Michelle and Lori, all of Illinois; sister, Minnie Montgomery of West New York; and a host of family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude Gill; parents, Rudolph and Mary Erickson; and sisters, Anna Samack and Trudy Schmidt.

A private funeral service and burial will be at Central Louisiana Veterans Cemetery in Leesville, LA. Granddaughter, Shelby Brown, will be the speaker.
