August 27, 1959 - February 4, 2015

Earl Wayne Simmons, 55 of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at his home.  Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Linda Simmons of Rosepine, LA; sons, Earl W. Simmons, Jr. and wife Felicia of Rosepine, LA, and Justin Simmons and wife Kimberlee of DeRidder, LA; father, George W. Simmons of Rosepine, LA; mother, Judith Farquhar and husband James of DeRidder, LA; grandchildren, Devon Simmons, Kasen Simmons and one on the way; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was preceded in death by his stepmother, Doris Simmons; and sister, Crista Simmons.

Visitation will be held Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and Sunday, February 8, 2015 beginning at 10:00am until time of funeral service at 2:00pm at Diamond Baptist Church in Rosepine, LA.  Burial will follow at Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.  Rev. James Byrd and Rev. Charlie Williams will officiate.
