Dorothy Faye Strickland, 62, of Newton, Texas, passed from this life on Wednesday, December 20, 2017.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Nicholas James Allen Strickland of Overton, TX; daughter, Amanda Cruz & husband Jose of Newton, TX; brother, Doyle Herrin & wife Sylvia of Vidor, TX; nine grandchildren, Luis, Carmen, Cristian, Joseluis, Daniel, Zachary, Mariana, Dakota and Makayla; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Edgart and Ruby Dougharty; brothers, Pete and Carlton Herrin; sisters, Chris McCormack, Bernice Whitiker, Oclene Cooper, Mildred Sisson.
