Dorothy Diane Baggett, 59, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, October 18, 2018.

She had many loves and just some of her favorites were southern cooking, canning jellies and fishing. She devoted her time to singing, praying and sending her daily devotions to many family and friends. Her grandchildren were her passion and she loved every one of them.

Those left to cherish her memory are her spouse of 22 years, John Edward Baggett, Sr.; son, John Baggett, Jr. and Heather of Elmore, LA; daughters, Jessica Hamilton of Elizabeth, LA, Brandi Frederickson and Robert of Moss Bluff, LA, Dottie Gatewood of Pitkin, LA, Kimberly Mahaffey and Tonya Banet both of Glenmora, LA; mother, Joyce Inez White of DeRidder, LA; brother, Earl “Bubba” White, Jr. and Tina of Rosepine, LA; sisters, Carol Snapp of DeRidder, LA, Linda Perrin and Michael of Spurger, TX, Cindy Holcomb and Larry of Carriere, MS and Sheila Honea and Robert of DeRidder, LA; Twenty-three grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. A very special Thanks and Appreciation goes out to Hospice of Leesville and Beauregard Home Health. A special “Thank You” to Aunt Wendy Moore for her care and compassion for Mom. She was preceded in death by her son, John Earl Yielding; father, Earl Lee White, Sr.; sister, Brenda White.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19, 2018, from 3:00 PM and continue till at time of funeral service at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 20, 2018. Visitation and funeral will be at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ, 124 Bob Nichols Drive, DeRidder, LA. Brother Clyde Snider will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be Clyde Snider, Jr., Earl “Bubba” White, Jr., Kameron Johnson, Brendan Mahaffey, Patrick Mahaffey and Gabriel Mikolaszuk.  Honorary Pallbearers will be JY Willis, Glen “Alex” Alexander and Robert “Peanut” Honea. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer, LA.
