Dora Abshire

Dora Faye Dick Abshire, 69, of Rosepine, LA, passed from this life on Thursday, July 25, 2024.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of forty-five years, John Abshire of Rosepine, LA; daughter, Joni Abshire Pecson and John of Leesville, LA; brothers, Darrell Dick of Junction, LA, Patrick Dick and Christina of Junction, LA; sisters, Virgie Anger of Rosepine, LA, Diane Dowden and Lance of Fields, LA, Penny Blackmon of Billingsley, AL; one precious granddaughter, Raphaela and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Virgil and Dora Dick.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, from 2:00 PM until the time of service at 3:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother James Hamilton will officiate the service.
