Dolphy Carroll, 71, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, June, 4, 2018.

Those left to cherish his memory are his  wife, Gaye Grant of DeRidder, LA;  son, Shane and Becky Lynn Grant of Ponchatoula, LA; daughter, Shelia and David Perkins of Cravens, LA; brothers, David Cary and Audrey Carroll of Bolton, MA and Donald and Frances Carroll of DeRidder, LA; sister, Maxine Alexander of Rosepine, LA; step sons, Jimmy Cantrell Jr. and Jimmy Roy Cantrell; step daughters, Jeanette Cantrell and Vickie Cantrell; grandchildren, Joshua Grant and Katie, Ashton and Ryan Johnson,  Payton Perkins and Dannon; great grandchildren, Paisleigh Johnson, Delanny Johnson, Dayton Melton and a host of other family and friends. Preceding him in death are his parents, Harry and Hazel Carroll; brothers, Claude and Bruce Carroll; sisters, Mamie Teston, Amy Joyce Fox, Arglen Blankenbaker, Betty Ann Fontenot, JoAnn Mabini, DeLores Jean Coker; maternal grandparents, Cary and Mary Madalene Whitaker; paternal grandparents: Hardy and Corine Carroll.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2018 from 6:00 – 9:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 8, 2018, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home.  Brother Lynn Clayton will officiate the service.  Pallbearers will be, Timmy Roy Cantrell, Sam Crow, David Perkins, Jack Castilaw, Michael Mabini, Ricky Cantrell.  Honorary Pallbearers will be, Dannon Melton, Ryan Johnson, and Jared Mabini.  Burial will follow at Whitaker Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.
