We celebrate the life of David Warren McReynolds, 60, who went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 22, 2021.
Born and raised in the greater New Orleans area, he recently moved to DeRidder and was employed by Tractor Supply Company. He loved hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He enjoyed taking road trips, adding to his collections, working on his projects, and confusing everyone with his sarcasm. He was a master trouble-shooter and repairer of anything that didn’t work. He served as a deacon at Hickory Knoll Church of Christ for many years. He had the heart of a servant, answering any call for help, no matter the request. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandad, son, brother, uncle, and beloved friend to many.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of thirty-seven years, Rachel McReynolds; daughters, Sarah Fader and Luke of Hot Springs, AR, Megan Cole and Alex of Judsonia, AR, Julie Knox and Lance of Granbury, TX; father, James David McReynolds of DeRidder, LA; brothers, Bryan McReynolds and Susan of DeRidder, LA, Kenneth McReynolds and Janet of Sulphur, LA; sister-in-law, Pat Sue McReynolds of Destrehan, LA; grandchildren, Landon Knox, Nathan Knox, Sadie Cole, Trent Cole and one more expected and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mattie McReynolds and brother, Timothy McReynolds.
