David Wayne Crockett

David Wayne “Crockpot” Crockett, 43, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on July 29, 2024. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jennifer Elliott Crockett of DeRidder, LA; son, Jamarcus Evans of DeRidder, LA; daughter, Kiara Romero of OK; sisters, Keisha Ven’Troy of DeRidder, LA, Taisha Crockett Hadnott of Houston, TX and a host of cousins, other family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, JoAnn Crockett; sister, Patricia Ven’Troy; grandparents, Freddie and Annie Prater, Clyde Housley, Albert and Josephine Crockett, Sr.

 Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, from 9:30 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA. Brother Toye E. Watts will officiate the service.
