Daniel David Kulaga

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Daniel David Kulaga, a beloved son, father, and friend, who left us on July 5, 2026, at the age of 68. Born in Deridder, Louisiana, David was a dedicated lineman in the construction industry, known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his craft. 

David was a man of many passions. He reveled in the great outdoors, especially during hunting season, where he found peace and joy among nature. He was a devoted supporter of LSU sports, often seen cheering passionately for his favorite teams. His zest for life and his one-of-a-kind spirit left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. 

He is survived by his beloved children, Cody Floyd and husband Jeff, David Kulaga and wife Gabby, and Jack Kulaga; grandchildren, Jeffery Floyd and wife Emily, Trey Floyd and wife Madi, Mayson Floyd, Kenden Kulaga, and Jeremiah Kulaga; great-grandchild, Colston Floyd; siblings, Mike Kulaga and Carla, Libby Cline, JoLynn Kulaga, Lanie Laughlin and Gerald. 

He is preceded in death by; parents, Joseph and Helen Kulaga; siblings, Joseph Kulaga, Rose Mary Kulaga, Eugene Kulaga, Henry Kulaga, Patti Farris, and Beverley Keel. 

 Visitation will be held on Friday, July 10, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, where family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM, also at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, Pastor George Lee Glass will officiate the service. Burial will take place at a later date. Cremation has been entrusted to Myers Colonial Funeral Home.

David Kulaga will remain forever in our hearts, missed by all who had the privilege of getting to know him.
