Dane Edward Dahlhoff

Baby Dane Edward Dahlhoff, beloved son of Kanon and Tori Dahlhoff, brother to Levi, Kanon (KJ), and Margot, was born sleeping at CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini hospital in Alexandria, LA on 1/20/2026 at 9:27 in the morning. Dane was 6lbs 11oz, 19 inches of pure perfection. Although his time with us was brief, he is profoundly loved and will be eternally missed by those who had already made room in their hearts for him. Baby Dane was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather Henry “Butch” Prell III of Anacoco and by his uncle Zachary Kelley of Leesville. Left to cherish his memory are his parents and siblings of Hornbeck, his Nanny and Papi Luke and Kimberly Kelley of Hornbeck, his Lolli and Pops Brian and Tracy Dahlhoff of Hornbeck, his aunt Taylor and husband Layton of Anacoco, his aunt Hannah and husband Andrew of Hornbeck, his uncle Kevin of Leesville, his uncle Samuel of Hornbeck, his aunt Kristin of Leesville and his uncle Judson of Ohio, and a host of great grandparents, great aunts and uncles, and cousins.

 “I am forever grateful that you existed my sweet perfect boy. I’ll miss you every second until we meet again”. - All my love, Mommy.

 “I will love you always Dane. Watch over Mommy, Daddy and your brothers and sister till we can hold you again .”- Daddy 

There will be a small, intimate memorial service held for Baby Dane with close friends and family.
