The life of Dalton, the star that will always shine.

Today with heavy hearts we are here to honor and celebrate the life of Dalton. After a courageous battle with depression Dalton’s pain became unbearable. While it is difficult to say goodbye, it is also a time to reflect on the incredible impact Dalton had on all of us.

Dalton was more than just a friend, sibling or a cousin, he was source of kindness that touched everyone he met. Whether it was through his warm smile, his big ole hugs, or his infectious sense of humor, Dalton had a way of making the world a brighter place.

Dalton, along with his brother, Devin were the shining stars of his Mama & Daddy. They were so very proud of anything and everything he did, and loved him dearly.

Memories that stand out are of his childhood, where on a daily basis him and his cousins ruled the house during the summer and weekends. Dalton, Devin, Justin, Andrew, Galina and Damion were the crew. From one minute fighting with each other to playing the video games for hours to the Friday and Saturday nights playing Yahtzee.

It’s moments like these that remind us how deeply Dalton enriched our lives and how his legacy will continue to live on in our hearts.

Though we feel the weight of loss today, and his death leaves us with raw grief let us also find comfort in knowing that Dalton had accept Jesus Christ as his lord and savior.

Dalton taught us lessons on forgiving and loving one another, and it is now our responsibility to carry that forward in his honor.

As we say goodbye, let us remember that Dalton’s spirit will always be with us-in the laughter we share, the kindness we show and the love we give. Dalton may no longer be with us physically, but his presence will forever remain in our hearts.

Thank you, Dalton, for everything you gave to this world. You will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
