Mr. Charlie Joseph Landry, 65, departed this life on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Visitation will begin Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at Bethel AME Methodist Church from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2008 at 1:00 PM at Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church in DeRidder, Louisiana with the Rev. Louis Smith officiating. Burial will be in Beauregard Cemetery, DeRidder, Louisiana.
Survivors included his Wife: Mary Landry of DeRidder, Louisiana; Sons: Charlie Guillory (Kimberly) of DeRidder,Louisiana;Christopher Palmer (Debra) of Leesville, Louisiana; Gerald Palmer (Karen) of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Roy Palmer of DeRidder, Louisiana; Harold Palmer (Felicia) of Mansfield, Louisiana; Charles Jones of Morgan City, Louisiana; Pythis Bradley of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Michael Benard of DeRidder, Louisiana;Daughter: Shannon Mark of DeRidder, Louisiana;Sister: Dorothy Franks (Percy) of Lake Charles, Louisiana.Numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive him.
