Known for her incredible cooking, Carolyn was famous among her family and friends for her delicious greens and cornbread, a recipe that will be dearly missed. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life; she dedicated herself to Jehovah's service in 1974 at the age of 29, becoming a devoted member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Rosepine Congregation. Carolyn was a true witness, sharing her faith and love with anyone who crossed her path.
In 1963, she married Ed L. Stewart, Sr., and together they welcomed five wonderful children into the world. Her family was her pride and joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Carolyn leaves behind to cherish her memory, her sons, Carlos Stewart and Brenda, Ed L. Stewart, Jr. and Rosalind, Tonia Stewart Johnson, Aquarnetia Stewart-Neve and Timothy, Crystal Stewart Grady and Darryl; sisters, Beverly Brown and James, Tracy Moore and Xavier; brother, Edward Earl Williams; fourteen grandchildren, forty-two great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who will remember her with love and warmth.
