DeRidder, Louisiana

Brandon Jerome Coker, a beloved husband, son, and friend, passed away on November 14, 2025, at the age of 39, surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 18, 1986, in Lake Charles, Louisiana, to William and Debra Coker. Brandon grew up surrounded by the warmth of family and the spirit of community. He lived all his life in Deridder, Louisiana, where he created countless memories filled with love and laughter. 

Brandon was known for his heart of gold, always ready to lend a helping hand or offer a listening ear to those in need. He held an unwavering passion for the LSU Tigers, proudly supporting his team through thick and thin. His zest for life was especially evident in the joyful hours spent with family and watching his beloved dogs play, moments that highlighted his love for those around him.

 Brandon is survived by his devoted wife, Kailene Coker, his loving parents, Debra and William Coker, his children; Brayden, Brianna, and Cheyene, Brothers: Bryan and wife Randa Coker, and Bradley and wife Amber Coker. The Aunt Shannon Hilton and husband David, nephews; Brent, Brobie, Bowie, Bryson, and Baby Brax, his aunts and uncles; Roger, Sanders, Lindsey, Lolly, and Quinn, his brother at heart Big Will, and numerous cousins. His presence will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents and Uncle Rick.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Fersenius Kidney Care in DeRidder, LA for all their dedication, and love towards Brandon.

 A memorial service to celebrate Brandon’s life will be held on Tuesday, November 18, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Myers Colonial Funeral Home, with Brother Buddy Freeman officiating. A Public Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM until the start of the service. Following the service, Brandon will be cremated, entrusted by Myers Colonial Funeral Home.

 As we remember Brandon, let us carry forward his kindness, passion for life, and unconditional love for family and friends. Most of all GEAUX TIGERS!!
