Bobby Ray Mills

July 12, 1932 - May 9, 2015

Bobby Ray Mills, 82, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Saturday, May 9, 2015.  Mr. Mills was a coach and teacher for over 30 years.   He was a 1950 graduate of DeRidder High School and a graduate of McNeese State University.  He played football in the Air Force and played 2 years for McNeese.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Jo Ann Cole Mills; son, Robert Mills and wife Juanita; grandchildren, Colt, Logan and Halston Mills all of DeRidder, LA.  He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hilda Mills; sister, Wanda Davis; and son, John Mitchell Mills.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2015 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder, LA.  Funeral service is Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 10:00am at Bilbo Church of Christ in DeRidder.  Burial will follow at Beauregard Cemetery in DeRidder, LA.   Jay Alexander will officiate.
