Bertha Davis, 97, of DeRidder, LA, passed from this life on Monday, January 27, 2014. 

 Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Daniel Archer and wife Linda of DeRidder; daughters, Lee Davis of Tampa, FL, and Lillie Williams of DeRidder; grandchildren, Greg Archer and wife Pam of DeRidder, Angela Archer of DeRidder, Connie Smith and husband Gary of DeRidder, Judy Hulett and husband Sidney of Sulphur, Randy Archer of Houston, TX, Brooke Smith and husband Kelly of Palmetto, FL, Shaun Everett and wife Elizabeth of DeRidder, Alex Carpenter of Greenville, SC and Demeris Williams of Slidell, LA; and 6 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Nelson Edward Davis, and son, Jimmie Archer.

Visitation will be held Thursday, January 30, 2014 from 5:00pm until 8:00pm at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home in DeRidder.  Funeral services will be held Friday, January 31, 2014 at 10:00am at Myers-Colonial Funeral Home.   Burial will follow at Lewis Cemetery in DeRidder.  Bro. Jay Alexander will officiate.
