Visitation will be Monday November 16, 2009 beginning at 3-9PM at New Life Baptist Church in DeRidder, La. Services are Tuesday November 17, 2009 at New life Baptist Church with Bro. Lynn Clayton officiating.
Internment at Holly Grove Cemetery at Anacoco, La. 

Mr. Sylvest is survived by his wife Della Sylvest of DeRidder.Chirldren: Benson Weighlon Sylvest, Jr. and wife Sherry of Anacoco, La. Pamela Sylvest of Austin, Texas, Benny Earl Sylvest and wife Peggy of DeRidder, Tammie Sylvest Potts, and husband Chuck of DeRidder,  William Mark Sylvest and wife Lori of DeRidder, La. 13 Grandchildren and 2 Great Grandchildren.
