Benjamin Eugene Ashworth

Benjamin Eugene Ashworth was born July 19, 1981 and passed away on Saturday, February 14, 2009. Benjamin worked as a Scaffold Builder and was a member of Oretta Pentecostal Church.

Benjamin is survived by son: Talon Flynn Ashworth; Fiancee: Brooke Blackburn of DeQuincy; Parents: Samuel & Rose Ashworth of Singer, LA; Brothers: Byron “BG” & Carolyn Marler of Singer, LA and Brandon Ashworth of Singer, LA; Nephew: Kade Marler of Singer, LA; Niece:Bethany Marler of Singer, LA; Maternal Grandparents: Keith and Edith Coffin of Rosepine, LA and a Host of Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and Friends. Benjamin was preceded in death by Grandparents: Homer & Zelma “Cricket” Ashworth, and Lester Harper.

Visitation will be held at Oretta Pentecostal Church in Oretta on Sunday, February 15, 2009 from 6 PM until 11 PM. His funeral will also be held at Oretta Pentecostal Church on Monday, February 16, 2009 at 2 PM with Brother T. D. Cardwell officiating. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery in Singer.
